Best thing to do is chase the wires and see wht they are hooked up to. Could be anything from an alarm to a switch for a light(s) the previous owner had installed.

Even easier, flip it on and see if it does anything.

They are the brand MaxLiner. Got them on ebay for about $150 front and back. So about $25 cheaper than husky or weathertech. They fit nice in front, but could use some adjusting at the door sills in the rear! I recommend them.
