Default What is this?

On the flow through console shifter there is what appears to be a place for a button opposite the "Park" indicator. I thought it might be Raptor specific but the pics I have seen seem to show that it is plugged just like on my FX4. Does anyone know what its purpose is?

I believe you are talking about the spot where you put your key to manually shift when the truck is off??

Yep, bypasses the ignition lock, you can stick a screwdriver in there and shift the truck

This is for when you wreck your truck and the Fire Department comes and cuts your battery cables after the truck has been sitting there for an hour without issue...

And if the battery is dead, dead, dead, and you need to push her out of the garage.
