Were to tap amp remote wire??

Default Were to tap amp remote wire??

So I have searched and can't seem to find anything solid. So were is a good place to tap for a remote wire for my amps? Using the stock hu with a Rockford 360.2

That's nice, but all I need is were to tap it, stuff has been hooked up a while, just no remote tap ATM

use a 'tap-a-fuse' and tie into fuse 41 in the fuse panel in the passenger side kick panel. You can get them at Autozone or Amazon:

I did a jump a fuse today on mine. I have a 2011 and my fuse relay for the radio was #38. not sure the yr on your truck

Just look in the owner's manual. For 2010, fuse 41 is listed as:

Auto Dimming Rearview Mirror, Doorlock Switch Illumination, Radio Accessory Delay

I'm sure there are others that will work too, but this powers on/off same as the radio.

The cover over the fuses won't go back on without some dremeling. It's behind the kick panel so leaving it uncovered isn't a problem.

It does actually. Some fuse assignments (number positions) are changed around amongst these three years (09-11) I have noticed mineself. Look in your manual at the picture and you should find the right one that synchs up with the descriptions some o the guys are telling you above. Thanks
