Weekend Projects for the F150
- Debadge the vinyl STX stickers - Done
- DeeZee EZ-Down Nut-sert Fix - Done
- Backup camera install - Done except for running wires to the new stereo
- Back window replacement with a slider
- Aftermarket Stereo Install
- Soundproofing
- Subwoofer
- Amplifier
- Amplifier Power
- Vinyl Wrap of various interior pieces
As you can see, I've got everything in the interior taken apart. Everything is sitting on my bench ready to be installed
Apart to go start soldering the new stereo wire harness to the adapter I bought.
One thing I am trying to decide on....speaker advice, I decided to make a whole new post about it
Eventually I'm going to have to get seat covers to get rid of the last of the grey interior panels of my STX
Wish me luck. Especially on wrapping those parts in Vinyl, as I've never done that.

Not entirely sure yet. I have some leftover Tar based soundproofing from my old truck. B-Quiet I think.
I bought some Dynamat, but If I can get away with not using it I'd like to return it. Meaning if the roll of B-quiet I have is enough, and still sticky. (It's about 10 years old now. Stored in my basement)
ANd I bought some of that foam stuff from Raammat.
Plan is to use the foam stuff along that back wall, over some of the sound deadening. AndAlso seal up my doors so that my doos speakers sound better.
No plans on removing the flooring, it's already thick rubber. And no plans on under-dash.
I may wait to do the soundproofing until it's a warmer weekend. Currently 50, with a high of only 71.
You see the cavity under the rear window? There's some stuffing in there, looks like the stuff pillows are made of. But just one little tuft per hole. And it's not enough to stay on the hole, it just moves around. Half-assed factory sound deadening I guess.

I ended up covering the side panels behind the doors really well, and then just spot covering the back wall. I forgot to get a picture, but I covered all of the holes, and put vertical strips everywhere. The rest of it I plan on using for my doors, and if there is any material left, I'll add it to the back panel.
It's covered with that felt, so I am not too worried about it.
I also got the new sliding back window installed, and the wire harness soldered and heat shrunk, minus the reverse wire and accessory power. Figured out accessory power is fuse 38, now I just have to get some of those add a fuse things.
Easter Sunday and family activites took a big bite out f my productivity, but what can you do.
