I was wondering if putting a good coat of wax or polish on the edge of window would do it? Just need to reduce the friction and maybe that might work? Worth a shot cause it's so easy to do………...

That's what I have but I was thinking they were above the rubber but I could be wrong. I agree though I like them better then the in channels I had they gave me so many problems with the windows not going up I ripped them off and ordered the seamless ones.

Have had the WeatherTech WeatherFlectors™ (front and rear) since the truck was new. Nary an issue from day one.

I was told that Ford made the window track smaller than the 04-08 models so using a in-channel will cause issues with it rolling up. I also have the Seamless AVS as well the install look came out very nice than I have seen. In the past I have always like the in-channel look but I like to use my windows more!

I Originally had the Revised AVS in channels, they only had 3-2" pieces that sat in the channel and allowed water to get by them and in the cab when turning! I had No Issue with bounce back, just water getting by them when Raining, as it sat in the roof channels till I made a turn!

I called them and explained the issue, they sent me the Seamless VentVisors for Free!

I would think that has to work! If the deflector is thinner it's got to give more relief to the motor.. hence stop the bounce back! My guess is Weathershield should mfg get that plastic made 1/16 or more thinner!

You know I bet that's why some work and some do not? I wonder how tight that thickness spec is held by them or their supplier??
