Yup, very common issue. I always make sure to research products before I buy them, which is why I purchased the AVS seamless vent visors.

Weather tech need to get current and design product that works not just hit/miss for certain climates..
Have to respectfully disagree. Mine work 99% of time now and I didn't have to do anything special. I'm positive if you took off 1/16" of thickness where the sit into the top window track they would work all the time. It's very easy to do with minimum skill and tools. It's simply because it requires the motor to use to much force to close.

In fairness my truck is not my DD so it sat with the windows up for a fairly long time. Perhaps that what made them work properly. I agree if they made them about 1/16 thinner at the top there would be no issues at all.

I'm very happy with the look and over all fitment. I did not want tape again which I had on my 06……. this is a much cleaner look but it can't be an adventure every time you use auto up…………

PS: When it's warmer be glad to shoot a vid showing mine work almost 100% of the time………..

I think I'll try sanding mine down, cause they always bounce back. Kept my windows closed in the summer for a week, and its been 9 months of not closing without doing it twice or slowly

They stick to the paint above the window.

Mine will still be on the truck when I trade it in, I always use a hair dryer to apply them! No trouble, with getting them to stay stuck on!

The Seamless AVS like I have, stick to the Rubber Moulding around the glass! Nicest ones made for our trucks IMO.

Don't know if I just got lucky or what but, I installed my weather techs on Saturday and followed the instructions very carefully. Today the windows worked perfectly every time.

It's 50/50 with our trucks.

They are nice, but can't for the life of me bring myself to stick them on.
