Default We Need a DIY Sub-Forum

All in favor say Aye!

They exist in other forums that I take part in and are a huge help for some of the more common projects.

Mods? Please?

Yes but specific to our forum.

Edit: to be honest I've been on here for a few months and have never noticed the aforementioned forum. Just saying if we can have an engine sub-forum dedicated to the new engines, we should get a sub-forum dedicated to our body style of truck.

it isn't that hard to just go to the how-to section and look for stuff related to 2009 and up models. after all, there aren't that many of them.

There aren't that many, but if it were stickied or a sub-forum at the top, it would be much more convenient to use, making participation higher. Case in point is the 2011+ engine forum. Those who run this site could have just thrown the Ecoboost guys into the V6 forum, and us 5.0 guys to the V8 forum. But I never went there or participated because it's too tedious to wade through information that doesn't apply to me. But I use the new engine sub-forum as much as I use the 2009-Present.

It's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. Just a suggestion to make the board more streamlined and user friendly.

We have considered it before and as the site continues to grow and evolve I'm sure it will be re-examined.

Reason we currently don't have something like that is simply because too many stickies at top of a section tends to clutter up the page and site as a whole. If there was a HUGE demand for it, we could implement it but most of the time people find what they need by searching or scrolling through their specific year and model section.

Good suggestion though, keep em coming if you have any others!
