Default Want to install Aux battery, input needed

I will be installing an aftermarket stereo system and power inverter in my truck, and would like to put in an auxiliary battery to power them. I am planning on going with a stinger battery and isolator. Is there anything I need to be aware of when putting this setup in my 2012 ecoboost fx4? Do I need to fuse it at both ends (isolator and at battery)? I plan on keeping the stock alternator, and won't right away, but will do a big 3 upgrade in the near future. From what I understand, our trucks have a complicated electrical system. I just want to make sure I don't mess anything up.

I have never put a system myself in a vehicle. I however have paid some gentlemen excessive amounts of money at certain points in my life to install clean and quality installed systems in my vehicles. Three different installers put batteries in three different cars of mine and they all had fuses at the main battery and at the aux battery. None of those was an F150 however and the newest one was a 2003 vehicle. But the 2003 also had an alarm and two way paging auto start system installed to further complicate the electrical system.

thanks for the links, zx14rider! I've searched, but could not find many threads on dual battery setups.
