A little brighter but not by much. The bulbs have a blue tinting to the glass and I imagine this is what prevents them from looking like the warm output of the oem bulbs. Still, better than the factory bulb and all I wanted was for them to match the same color spectrum of the HID's. That, they achieve.

FYI, 9005 bulbs fit in the fog housing, had them in for 3 years with no problems.
On a side note, Hoen's site keeps declining my CC, is that an overseas company?

I finally got around to installing mine and found the same issue with the red O-ring. However, I was able to make them fit and work without any major issue using the one that they provided. It took a little extra effort, but they fit.

And to Andrade, the box came from here in U.S. and they use a 3rd party company to process all of their payments. I believe 2 checkout is the name. I didn't have any issue with using my card with them.

Those blue tinted Hoens are probably a bit dimmer than a SilverStar or PIAA 9145. They are whiter but thats due to the extra helping of blue tint, which is why they're good for an HID color match and useless for everything else.
The yellow Hoen "endurance" is the one to get for functionality

Just installed mine. <5 minute project. Also, was able to use the seal that came on the new bulbs without an issue.

Both sides installed:

Rigid DOT approved fogs on order...now the wait begins. But 1700 lumens per side is something to be excited about!!

The few output shots I've seen look good. Beam pattern is roughly 50* wide. I want to illuminate a bit more of the road's edge, so I'll mount mine in the fog buckets with a 10* or so turn outwards. Should be rather impressive.

The only thing I don't like is the square peg in the round hole.

Those look even dimmer than the stock bulbs.

Hard to say, sometimes the yellow bulbs seem to reflect light more.
