Used WMP, synced them to the USB,(the process went great)but nothing didn't come up on the Playlist....I may have to go back to CD's.

Cds, what are those?

 

They're stored next to my cassettes and 8 tracks

 

Pat and others, see my previous post with my issue explained and how to resolve it, I suspect the same issue might be seen by you and others.

Please check the drive letter for your USB drive when it's plugged into your laptop, is it D,E,F or G etc... My F150 has a single USB plug and mounts the drive as F every time. If you make a playlist on a PC with the drive letter other than F was used, then you can have problems for sure and you will need to correct the text inside playlist file.

I see references to something like:
G:\Music\BJD\mysong1.mp3

fixed

F:\Music\BJD\mysong1.mp3

That will break the playlist on your PC, but it will work fine when your thumb drive is connected to your F150 as drive F.

I used Syncplay list and also WMP with Windows 8. Put the albums in the order I want them and it still plays the songs in alphabetical order. Sync says play menu not avaliable.
Any ideas? The truck is a 2014 xlt with basic sync.
