Went to my dealer's website to set up a service appointment to get the transmission rattle in my 2010 Screw looked at, and while I was there, decided to check out their inventory. Big mistake. Found a leftover 2013 Lariat that was absolutely loaded and ended up making an appointment for a test drive today. Big mistake. I had never driven an Ecoboost before; impressed.

I take delivery of my new truck Monday after work . Sterling Grey Metallic, 3.5L Ecoboost, 3.73 Electronic Locking rear, heated/cooled leather seats, moonroof, power sliding rear window, off road package, HID Headlights, spray-in bed liner, rear view camera, factory remote start, dual zone electronic auto climate control, navigation, Sony CD, trailer tow package with TBC, and I'll stop listing options now.

I cannot wait until Monday!

They got you!

Isn't a great feeling? I won't drive an Eco or a 5.0 as I know I will want to trade in my 10! I'm actually waiting as I love the new body style of the 15!

Congrats and it will be the slowest 48 hours ever!

Congrats man I did the same thing. I traded my 09 with the 4.6 on my 2011 5.0 after I test drove it waiting on my oil change

Hook, line, and sinker. Congratulations, let's see some pictures when you get that baby home.

I'd like to think that if I'd bought the Lariat in the first place, that I'd still have my 2010 5.4 Max Tow.........but I didn't and got the XLT instead back then.
After a couple of years, we decided we wanted the leather, cooled and heated and all of the other things our 2012 Lariat Plus came with. The EcoBoost was a nice bonus too as we tow a TT a LOT.
We LOVE our Lariat, and so will you! Congrats!!! Two

That kind of happened to me. Had a 2011 xlt I had gone to the dealer to get an oil change. Walked around the lot while waiting and had been wanting and looking for an fx4 but didn't think I could afford one. Well 3 hours later I drove off in a fully loaded 13. Haha

Sucker!

Congrats. I think this is half the reason the service dept takes forever to get anything done.

As RES4CUE said, this has been the longest wait time of my life and I'm only halfway there. I cannot wait for tomorrow evening and will be pretty much worthless at work with all the clock-watching.

I will try to get some pics up later tomorrow night. I have to pick my 12 year old up from his martial arts class after I take delivery and I'm sure he's going to want to go for a ride and mess around with all the gadgets. He went on the test drive with me and has already mastered the navigation. Going to have to put the Ford MyKey to work soon.

Thanks for all the congrats and well wishes. I spent some time today cleaning out the 2010; removed the tonneau cover (it's going on the Lariat) and plugged the SCT tuner in to bring the truck back to the stock tune. I plan on holding on to the tuner in the hopes that the shop I got it from can work something for the EB maybe. Tried explaining to my (almost) 3 year old twins why I was taking their car seats out of the "Big Blue Truck" and feeling reassured that I opted for the Simonize and Scotchguard protection for paint and interior.

Well, off to another mostly sleepless night. This time tomorrow,
