Default Updated pics of the 11 HD after PD

Here are some pics that were taken last night after everything was done. It was night time so couldn't get any outdoor pics. Will take some today. The next thing will be installing 2 in drop shackles to level the truck out. Sorry for the pics not being very good. Buddies phone apparently doesn't take the best pics.

Update with pics out in the daylight and after a quick bath.

Well, looks great AKA! But, I have no idea what HD (heavy duty?) nor PD means. Ye must understand, I just might be the oldest geezer on here! Me old brain keeps up pretty good, I'm even fluent in 日本語, but this modding and acronyms, I ain't so good at.

No worries iFord. HD= Harley Davidson Edition F150 and PD= Plasti Dip (its spray-able latex is the best way I can explain it and is 100% reversible as in I can peel it off whenever.

It will just start to peel on its own... enjoy it while it lasts.

I'd like some info on the drop shackles. Is this to level out the rear? I might want to do this on my '13 STX.

Are there any downsides to lowering the rear?

I dont think there are any downsides to lowering the back. Most people do it to make their truck look more "level" or to add bigger tires. It does look really good when people level their trucks, gives them more of a balanced look to match the front or vice versa.

Thats not completely accurate. I had plasti-dip on my 5.0 Mustang for nearly 2 years with no issues and no touch ups.

To get durability, you need to clean the surface correctly and apply numerous layers (7-8).

Yup, I agree PD lasts quite sometime if you take the time to do it correctly. It also helps to not plastidip a "high traffic" area as well. My boss dipped his wheels on his Camaro and never had an issue with any peeling. Had them dipped for around two years.
