Default update on blown ecoboost

Well after a week waiting to get here something. My 2012 ecoboost is in side my dealers bay. The preliminary look over after draining the oil and finding metal shavings is the motor is blown, I could have told them that.
they pulled #1 plug (the one they replaced 2 weeks ago ) has blown up in to the motor causing damage to the cylinder. Now in the next 2 to 3 days or maybe after Christmas they will pull the motor take off the heads and send there findings to ford to see if they will replace the motor. I am talking to the dealer and he is talking to ford about a buy back. I would warn every one that document any problems you have no mater how small call customer service and start a case file. I have had no luck with this ecoboost from day one best mileage it has ever got is 13mpg pulling a boat 9mpg. far off the est. from ford. I have had fords all my life and still believe the build the best truck around. I am tiring to get the buy back to move to the 5.0 f150 the rental is a 5.0 and it is getting 18 city and almost 22 highway. big difference from the 13.. My brother truck which is the same truck different plant is also still in the dealership for the inter-cooler update has had the turbo replaced as well as the driver side cat. still has not been released due to they want to see what went wrong with mine which was in for the same problem 2 weeks a go.....

I dealt with paint issues for almost 5 months before they said they'd fix it. It's been at the dealership for 3.5 weeks now. I have friends who succeeded in getting Ford to buy back trucks, but they both said it took about 6 months before it all happened.
