Default Unleashed EB Eco tunes

Hi guys, I'm getting ready to order a tuner and 3 custom tunes for my 2012 F150 from unleashed. Just curious if any of you guys have had the Eco tune and if so is it any good? I've read that 5 stars Eco tune dumps fuel into the oil.

Thanks for any feedback.

Dumps fuel into the oil? LOL that's new.

Direct injection engines have the possiblity of fuel blow by due to the 2000+ psi chamber pressures. Doesn't make a difference what tune you're running it could happen.

On my 12 it was amazing, lowered my fuel consumption about 3mpg, on my 14 it raised it 2mpg, I went back to stock on my 14

Been running a 93 octane performance tune from Torrie at Unleashed for 25k miles.

Love the tune.

I have had a 87 performance tune in my 5.0L from Torrie since 1200 miles and LOVE IT!

Oh and FYI Torries tune is 12 secs faster to 100mph than my 87 tune from MPT 😱

It does. I ran it for a short time in my 14 EB and had gas in the oil. It was a fresh oil change with Mobil one too. I no longer run the Eco tunes after that one time, only the 87 and 91 Perf/Tow 5* tunes and never had a repeat of gas in the oil. I drive nearly 100% 60 MPH, so for me the Eco tunes were a waste of money.

I'm running the performance 87 octane tune from Unleashed and my gas mileage is now back up to where it was before Ford started derating the engine due to the water in the CAC. I've got a little hesitation still at low RPM, but overall it's OK. I've got a '12 screw with the 5' bed and 155k miles on it.

Do the pedal calibration, should clear that hesitation up. Had the same thing with my 14, and the calibration solved it.

Can you explain this pedal calibration?
