Unable to update sync
I have been trying for days to get my 2012 Supercrew with the 8 inch Sony/nav screen to update to 4.4. I found the files via Ford's website and some digging on here. I get the files are downloading and the first Installation Complete but nothing after that. I've tried for 45 minutes for it to do something and it sits there. I've done a master reset, pulled the negative battery terminal and even pulled fuse #2 from the passenger kick panel and still does the same thing. Any help would be great because all I want to do is update my radio.

If I am wrong, forgive me, but the 8" MFT latest version is 3.10 4.4 is for the 4" screen. I have a '13 with a 8" MFT and I just recently updated to 3.10. it is not on the ford website. as I believe it was for dealer installs only. there was a thread or three floating around with the links to the files.

It is my understanding that 2012 was the last year for MFT. And 2013 and on were Sync. The photos are of Sync, correct?
So the OP question was about MFT. Not Sync
Two totally different hardware and software systems.
I have a 2012 SCREW Lariat with the 8" Sony/Nav MFT. I have version 4.6 (that actually installed correctly).
