i just got a quote from a local shop in town that said for a true dual exhaust flowmaster on an 09 F150 SCREW it will be $495. Installation and chrome tips are included in this price...do u think this is a good deal?

I think it is just my personal preference. I don't like anything half one way half another. I like it to be one concept. Having true duals just feels right. The performance difference is probably negligible but it works and that is what I have always wanted.
I also have had some of my buddies who have single in dual out say that they wish they had true duals. Again there is no reason except it feels right.
As for not having room check out my pictures. Maby that will give you some ideas as to how they could run them. I didn't think they could do it with my truck either, but they did. I do have a SCrew but I would check and see what they can do.

Check and see what the price of the tips are by them self. Some tips can be as much as $250 each (at least that is what they want to charge). I do not have tips and my setup was $320 before tax. So compare what they are doing without the tips to what i had done. If it is close then it is a good deal.
