I'm thinking of getting a tuner for my 2011 F150 5.0ltr. I am going to be towing a 26' travel trailer and want a little more power for the bigger hills. I keep reading of shudder issues with the econ tune in some and more. I have the tow/haul button in my truck, do I need a tow haul tune? If I got one, would I ever need to hit the button?
What is the best tuner for an 87 octane economy tune, tow haul tune and the odd performance day of ripping around?
I have been thinking of the Boss Kit, does anyone have this and if so what do you think of it?

 

How much are you towing? If it's a very heavy load, it's not a bad idea to get a tow specific tune.
