Default Truck cap

Just bought a new 150 Limited super crew with a 51/2 bed. I want to put on a nice cap that matches the truck's lines. Any advice?

1st off, beautiful truck!! Secondly, my dad has a leer 700 on his Limited. It looks great if a bit bulky. I'd look into the Leer 550 or ARE cover.

Edit: sorry, I thought you were talking about tonneau covers.

I have a Leer and it is great..keeping things dry and secure. Here's a pic...don't have one with just the plain truck...but you can see the cap.

Had a SnugTop. On the next truck I got the top-o-the-line Leer. After having nothing but problems with it, including lower mpgs, I got another SnugTop for my new F150.

Now I'm nothing but happy. The SnugTop fits great, paint-to-match (like everybody else), the big plus: it doesn't leak! (like the Leer did/does). The Leers use a riveted rubber flap to seal the lower edges at the rear rain channels (at the door opening). The SnugTop is molded to shed water in the first place and has a deflector on the bottom of the door glass to keep much of the water from getting to it in the first place.

Also, the SnugTop's 'carpet' liner is much more securely attached, and it has a 1" honeycomb ceiling to support itself better and a load if you ever put a rack on the top. The Leer has 4 mounting clamps. The SnugTop has 6.

Add to all this, Leer's "customer service" (at least in their Sacramento, CA location) is so bass-ackwards. They always act like they're doing you a favor just answering the phone... then just try to get some actual resolution to an issue.

Price-wise, all the good ones are about the same.

Here's my SnugTop:

I've had nothing but issue's with my Leer Browning edition a few years back. Since then I've had 3 ARE's without an issue. Z series for me
