Ask anyone with an Edge that has lived through the constant reboots, lockups, not to mention the useability complaints. It's not turning out to be so user friendly after the wow factor wears off, particularly in the non-tactile touch buttons on the dash.
IMHO, the F150 has the perfect blend of touch and physical buttons between the dash, Nav panel and dash LCD. Call it MFT "Light"
Every single person I've talked to with an Edge and MFT has said that once the new wore off, they wished they didn't have it.
Ford hasn't got it quite right yet. There needs to be more tactile feedback, and they have GOT to get the bugs out of it.

"What wizard thought this was a good idea?" I asked pointing at the dash.
I later found out it was two women engineers Ford hired. Apparently they never thought of anybody ever using the car in the winter.
