really.... see i personally like the look of the xlt with xtr package over the fx4 lol. fx4 looks more plain to me and costs more.

To each their own i guess

I to went from a Tundra(08-miss the power but that's all)) to an XLT. I really hated the grill and painted bumpers on the FX4.

You don't need 4WD, skid plates, or a rear locker... 'til you need it, then it's too late!

Some things can be added later, but if you price them out, likely find it's cheaper to buy the truck with the goodies to begin with. With the "e-price" + Ford rebates, got mine for about $8K below MSRP sticker.

My loaner has chrome. Looks good with the black paint. But the one I ordered is red candy metallic & black. This combo works for me.

Should arrive Sunday...

The painted bumpers on the FX4, STX and FX2 are something you either love or hate.

I went with an XLT because I'm old and chrome bumpers look good on a pickup to me. And I decided to go w/ 2WD this go around. (most of my past pickups have been 4X4)

Although every new F-150 I see on the road looks great...even the XL.
