Truck only has about 4000 miles on it and has always read very low. I wish they would put numbers on the gauge so you would know what it was.

mine is always in the middle also but has anyone shut truck off for 5 or 10 min and the needle is at the cold again, wierd

Mine usually runs about in the middle, but occassionally will run barely off the cold peg. This usually happens after the vehicle has been run and then turned off for a short period of time. I think I remember seeing an old thread on this issue that said there was a TSB issued on this problem. Can't remember if it was discussed on this forum or another one.
