Default Transmission Temp

I am pulling close to the 11,100 my 2012 F150 Ecoboost is rated for. No place can I find the maximum temp for the trans during towing. Normally, the trans temp is in the 190-200 range when not towing. Does anyone know what the max would be?

Thanks!!

Not sure what the max is, but towing 5000 lbs through the Rocky mountains (6% or so grade at nearly 7000 feet), and temps in the 80s I never saw much above 205.

Id worry if i got over 220 f for any extended amount of time, if your doing any serious heavy pulling or pull through mountains id suggest looking at a deep trans pan for better cooiling and capacity.

I seen mine as high as 92*C (195F) just normal highway driving. My 2005 GMC Sierra never run anywhere near as hot as this Ford does nor does my 2008 Chev truck at work. They might get to about 65*C (150*F)

214F in city traffic after a long haul on the highway and then hitting stop and go city traffic in hot weather. The transmission has a thermostat to try to get the temp to 190 or so quickly and keeping it from 190 to 195.
