Default Update Transmission positioning sensor replacement

You guys were right it was part of the lead frame I replaced it under the recall thanks

2011 F150 XLT 4x4 140000 MI so I have been having this intermittent no crank no start and I just give up on trying to find what was
causing that and took it to the Steeler ship it's there now but they won't tell me how much it's going to cost until the transmission guy gets it up in the air
Starting and I guess 2010 9/10 they put the sensors on the inside of the transmission before that it was outside transmission which would have been a lot easier with just two bolts in a cable
So the question is if you had your transmission sensor replaced with it at the dealership how much did it cost you
Thanks Mike

That sensor is part of the lead frame which carries a 150,000 mile extended warranty. It shouldn't cost you anything.

Maybe that's why he couldn't give me a price his computer didn't even bring up anything regarding the trans position sensor
So I guess my next question is was all the trucks involved in the lead frame recall or just some only thanks Mike

Ford has issued multiple recalls affecting up to 202,000 vehicles including the F-150, Expedition, Mustang, and Lincoln Navigator built from 2011-2012 for an issue with the output speed sensor on the transmission's lead frame. Under certain conditions, the gearbox could force a temporary downshift to first gear and the driver could experience a speed reduction that could cause the rear tires to slide or lock up, which can increase the risk of an accident. The automaker is aware of three reported accidents due to the issue but there have been no injuries.

Dealers will inspect the vehicles' powertrain modules for diagnostic trouble codes linked to the issue. An update to the powertrain control module software will be made to keep the gearbox from abruptly downshifting into first gear if no codes relating to the issue are found. Ford will also provide a one-time replacement for the transmission lead frame at no charge within 10 years or 150,000 miles from the start of the warranty. Dealers will replace the lead frame and perform a software update if a vehicle is found to have codes relating to the gearbox abruptly shifting to first gear.
