Trans Slipping?
Within the last few weeks I've experienced what feels like the trans slipping but given how beefy these things are that seems unlikely. Have you had any experience with this issue and what, if any, problem did you find?
If I were to describe the issue, coming off a stop it feels like it's hesitating and then catching and I'm getting the occasional rough downshift.
Thanks!

If I were you I'd try resetting the keep alive memory (KAM). Disconnect the negative battery cable, flash the high beams a couple times to drain capacitors (I don't think this step is necessary as I've had no problems not doing it, but it can't hurt), and keep it disconnected for at least 15 minutes. This should clear the learned behavior by the transmission. Drive how you normally would after doing this and see if it helps you.

I should've bought an SCT tuner years ago.
If I recall, if I didn't stop completely the truck wouldn't downshift into first or second and would be in like 3rd gear still, so it may seem like its hesitating but it could just be in too high of a gear which makes it feel sluggish. Honestly it might even do it with a tune sometimes but with the added power 3rd gear is much stronger than 3rd gear on a stock tune, even with heavy tires, that I don't notice any hesitation.
But it's never too late to buy one!
Pass thru seal? Here's a video that describes what I mean. Jump to 3:30 mark. He even describes in the video that it could lead to delayed engagement.
I'm actually sitting in the service department waiting room right now while they check mine, along with a full trans service.
Good luck!

Mine is a lot better after having this work done yesterday, too. New filter, fluid, seals, bulk head connector, and re-flashed and the ride is soooooo much smoother now. With 142,500 miles on it, it was definitely due some transmission TLC regardless.
