I seen where my truck has no dip stick for the trans. I have a 2014 Eco. I seen it the morning after I got it home when I was checking the oil. I know some of you why I check the oil on a brand new truck. Well it's a habit I have. It started when I got my first car. A 1966 ford galaxie 500 with the good old 289 v8. Leaked oil and had to check it every day and I've done it ever since

You check your oil everyday?

You must have a lot of time on your hands. I know old habits are hard to break but dang, once a month is fine.

Yeah but checking the oil everyday is overkill. Once a month is just fine.

You must be retired and have all the time in the world on your hands. Me I work 3 jobs and dont have the time to check the oil every day. Once a month is plenty fine for my truck.

We run our fire trucks hard everyday and we only check the oil on saturdays. Thats if the engineer has the time to do it. They have never found an issue while doing so.

Its your truck and you can do whatever you want. Oil the hinges every thursday, condition the seats on saturdays, polish the chrome on mondays. Its your time, use it wisely.

There is a dip stick, it's located on the tranny.
