Default Trailer settings.

With my truck I can name trailers. I would assume that when having multiple trailers (with multiple names) that the settings (brake gain and tow/haul) would be saved under that name. That way, the different trailers having different settings, would remember your settings for each trailer.

Am I doing something wrong? Other than the name, no settings are saved.

Funny.

I have read and re-read the manual. It describes how to name a trailer, which I have done, but mentions nothing about saving settings.

Why have this forum if everyone could just follow your advice and Google it? He posted here because most likely someone here has an answer to his question, that is why you have a forum duh.

I was thinking the save trailer infor only applies to when you hook-up the 7 pin connector?

Well that was just rude. Maybe it would be better if you stay off the forum.

Exactly! Plus some may have learned other things that aren't explained in the manual. We are here to help, not ridicule members.

I hadn't had my morning coffee yet, someone cut me off on my way to work and the wife said no when I asked for a quickie before getting out of bed. To say the least I was grumpy and my sense of humor is odd. Give me a break I was born awesome, not perfect!!

I had my different trailer programmed and the dealer reflashed the truck and I lost it all. Now I'm just "default trailer".
