Default Trailer Brake Controller - 2013 STX
Fixed it... thanks guys. I'll leave this up for reference.

I purchased a TBC from my local Ford dealer, went to install it ran it an issue.

Apparently there needs to be an adapter between the TBC receptacle and the harness connector, can any confirm this? The connector does not contain the pins in the same alignment as the TBC receptacle.

Do you have the 4 and the 7 pin connectors on the hitch?

That part on the harness is a cover. Remove it by pressing that tab down and pull it off and you'll be able to connect your TBC.

Yes. Truck has the tow package.

Why did you replace the TBC? How difficult was replacing it?
