Traction Control override w/pics

This is a great mod....strictly for having fun "off road"....not on. Listen everybody, some people wanna be able to pull into the the muddy field, kill the TC 100% and do sideways slides or whatever. Some people wanna be able to do burnouts until the rear wheels pop, that's what this mod is for....having some fun with the truck, or when you have to really nail the throttle hard to push thru 3 foot snowbanks for the hell of it.....great mod, easy to do...reading some of these posts it's obviously not for everyone....glad I'm not one of those guys :P

I am currently working in iraq and our company has a 2011 ford f150. it was raining today and real muddy out so a couple of us descided to take it out and see how well we could play in the mud. wel neddless to say the tracion cotrol, even after we held the button for 5 seconds still came on and basicly would not let us acelerae or do anthing untl we came to a full stop. then when i googled how to turn off the tractiopn control i found the "MY KEY" option. went through and set it up to traction control. we took it back out and i tell you that it was to take it out to the middle of an open mud field and actually get it doing donuts and fish tailing and such. at one point i even go the wheels going 80 mph while barely moving at 10 mph forward. and i dont care where ur from in north america u can not find mud like they have here in iraq, ga red clay doesnt even cmopare to this crap...to give u an idea take 2 cups of flower and slowly add water and mixit until u get a soupy but still reletively thick paste that sticks to every thing ad then u got the mud here.

Quick question, I just did this mod and love it. It functions as it should. Do you turn the switch off when you turn the truck off and just turn it back on when you start the truck ? I turn it off only when driving off road in the mud and have been turning the switch off when I turn the truck.

My switch is on 24/7 unless I have to shut the traction control off like mud or snow. Never has hurt my battery. I walk out in my garage and the inside of my truck has a faint glow of blue in it (:
