A floating bar is going to be your best bar IMO. Just make sure quality heims are used. I ran just standard 2 1/4" bars on my f250. They weren't anything catchy but surely worked well. Either way I think you'll be happy with any bar as the resulting will be a better ride. Keep us posted on what you go with.

The bars help with any axle wrap that may exist from installing a 5" block in the rear. The OUO bars can be powder coated any color and can be ordered with larger gussets on them if you want. They are also available in multiple configurations.

I liked the idea of tying the lift block to the traction bar to make sure it stayed solid. My traction blocks also have a pad on them for air bags if so desired.

Here are a few shots of the standard BDS 5" blocks compared to the OUO 5" Traction Blocks.

The only picture of the Stiffler bar I have is this. This is of the prototype weld on bar, as I said above the production bars will be bolt on.

^^^^ that looks like a beefy bracket. 1/4"? Personally though I prefer the bolt on brackets and I put a few tacks on them. Never had them move.

What ride height is your truck? Lifted, Lowered, or Stock?

Yes, they are very beefy, probably why my mileage suffers a little. The bars are also adjustable in length and would easily reach to the front of the front door if you wanted them to. I chose to keep them a little shorter and place them about the middle of the 2 doors.

Here is a shot of the bars on the truck.

Thanks Wayne! Your old trucks were inspirations and the white one was a real beast. It's good to see you are back at it again with the new truck.

These might look familiar to you;

I'm lowered 2/4. Rear drop was from djm flip kit but I went back to spring over(removed overload spring and installed belltech drop shackle) allow me to run the long bars.

Also, I have pictures of the bars but can't get them posted. If someone wants to pm me their email or a number to txt them to I'd be happy to send them.
