Judging from the videos, they help with axle wrap. I don't have axle wrap that bad but will eventually pick up these to help with any axle wrap I do have and plus, they seem to be a cheaper solution to deaver leaf packs.

Surprisingly the axle wrap isn't bad at all with my rcx lift. My superduty suffered from terrible wrap. They should have bars from the factory. Having 1000+ ft lbs only made things that much worse too.

Yeah I wish I could find something a little flashier but I do like the OUO ones though.

That is one slick truck. Even though I'm a Ruby Red fan, nothing looks as good as a clean black truck (it's just a bitch to keep that way)

You have his prototype weld on bars? He said he made a few sets. I been talking with Bryan over the last few weeks and I'm getting very excited about the release of his bolt on production bars in the next few weeks.

Glad to see more Stiffler supporters on this forum.

Rize makes a floating bar for our trucks, contact them. Ain't cheap but there flashy!

As I said above I'm getting the Stiffler bars, paying extra money to have the bar powder coated silver over the standard black they come in. To have them a little more flashy and even with the extra money to have them a different color there still more than half the price of the OUO or Rize bars.

I have installed Rize, Fabtech, OUO, JLP, Procomp, and JDM bars. My least favorite is the Procomp due to them locating the bar that attaches to the axle on the front of the axle not the bottom.

The Rize and Fabtechs are a floating bar design which have two attachment points on the axle and a shackle mount on the frame.

The others are long bars design which work great and all are basically the same design. Only complaint I have is that all the long bars listed above have bushings on the end of the bars. These wear over time and need replacing. The Stiffler bars have heims, which is far superior to the bushing designed bars.

To explain what they do for the people that aren't sure.

Axle Wrap - When under acceleration the torque of the axles spinning the wheels cause the axle housing to rotate the pinion up. This causes a S shaped bend in your leaf springs. Sometimes the amount of bending can cause your pinion angle to be so great you can break the D/S, U-Joint, or even the Pinion gear.

Wheel Hop - The S shape bend in the leaf spring can only bend so much then it springs back to its original shape the quickly back into the S shape. This being repeated very quickly cause the wheel to actually hop. This can also cause the same damage as I listed above.

Traction bars attach a straight bar to the bottom of your axle and attach it to the frame. This bar eliminates the axle from rotating. Which interns stops axle wrap, wheel hop, it also helps make the rearend more solid under the truck.
