Default TPMS in a set of 2010 wheels

Hi folks, I ran something over a few days ago and had a flat on the right rear. It ruined the tire so I looked at new tires... wow! I found a set of identical wheels/tires on craigslist nearby and it made sense to buy all four for the price of just two new tires.
These were take-offs from a 2010 F-150. I have a 2011 f-150. Funny thing, I bought them and put 3 in the back cab and one in the bed. I drove away and my TPMS light went off. I thought, that's nice. LOL The spare was still on, but I figured one of the tires was keeping the system happy. So I put two of the new wheels and tires on the rear. I went to have the truck relearn after driving a bit, about 10 miles to baseball and back. RF-Good LF-Good RR-nope.
tried a few times, nothing doing on the RR. I then put the old LR on the RR and then it worked. LR-nope.
So how long do the batteries in the sensors last? I have read around 7 years, but if the tires were in a garage under-inflated that would drain the batteries. I ordered the trigger tool on amazon, but until it arrives, any words of advice????

Battery life - 10 years | 150,000 miles. *As per Ford / Motorcraft

After 15 minutes of not moving, the sensors stop transmitting. MEANING: No battery drain.

Well apparently after some time idle the sensors will go into shipping mode and need to be reactivated. Deflated the tire entirely, let it sit for 10 mins, re-inflated, took it for a drive of 10 mins abaove 20, came back and did a re-learn and bingo. All four tires registered and no more dash light.
