Default Tpms issue

SO I'm driving down the highway today and all of a sudden I get a tpms warning on the dash... Haven't changed anything in many weeks with my truck other than getting a used iPad that I had charging in the power point to the right of the radio . Obviously the tire pressure was fine as I was at highway speed...
2012 5.0 4x4 stock tires and wheels
Thanks

Because a slow leak can't happen at highway speed? Taking a tire gauge to each tire would seem prudent one would think.

I agree with Rick, you should check the pressure, I think below 27psi sets it off.

2012... well, that's 4 years, sensors generally have a life expectancy of 5-7 years (not written in stone), so there is a chance that the battery might be starting to go in one or more of your sensors. just keep an eye on it. if it starts happening often, expect to be replacing the sensors. hopefully not, and it was just a random glitch.

Did you get a low tire warning or a TPMS sensor fault? I used to get a sensor fault every time I drove past a radio tower on a certain stretch of highway. It would fault out every time I hit that area, but was never a problem anywhere else. The sensors transmit at 315mhz I think so any signal in that range could fault them out.
