TPMS on 2013
I truly like my F150 but........
The TPMS sucks. It does not report a low tire (25 psi) until it has caused severe wear on the side tread, not to mention sidewall strain. So far sidewall bulge is the only reliable easy check for pressure. I learned that too late for my first set of tires. I made a mistake to assume Ford made a functional TMPS system.
Having had a flat and putting on the spare I discover it does not see the spare tire. With the flat in the shop I get a sensor fault.
Questions;
1. How can the trip pressure be set to a higher level?
2. How do I rotate tires and run the spare with monitoring for it too?
3. How can I get a pressure reading on the tires while rolling down the highway?
The Japanese have figured out how, what are we waiting on?
My Kawasaki motorcycle tells me what the pressure is in each tire. I can tell if one is loosing pressure before it needs air, not so on the F150.
