Default 2013 FX2 wheel question and needed advice

Good day everyone.

I just bought a used 2013 FX2 with the upgraded 402A package that when it was brand new, it included the 20" rim upgrade. However, this is not how I bought the truck. The truck currently has the 18" graphite gray wheels from the 2015 F150s. It has 265/60/18 on it. I checked the sticker on the door frame and it has the 20" size tires listed. After calculating it out, the current set up is 4.4% smaller than stock. As you know, this changes my mpgs and miles that goes on the clock. When I called the dealer to see if they would rectify the problem, they said that because I got such a great deal on the truck, they would probably not do anything. (He said he has to wait for his boss who doesn't work weekends) He also stated that if they didn't set up the computer to think it has smaller tires on it, the TPMS sensors would be throwing an error code. I don't agree but I could be wrong.

1. Does this affect my factory warranty with ford?

2. Do you think I have grounds to stand on for them to change it?

Sorry for the long first post. Thank you in advance for any advice.

You bought it from this Ford dealer? I wouldn't think twice about my dealer denying warranty work, if it is how they sold it to you.

You bought the truck how it is, you have no ground for them to change anything IMO.

Yes, it was from a Ford dealer and the truck is CPO.

I would hope that they wouldn't deny warranty etc. but you never know.

Should I have them at least fix the computer so it thinks it has 18s instead of 20s? That way my speedo is correct?

Thanks! Looking forward to learning a lot here with my first truck

My truck had 20's on it stock, and I had the dealership switch them out to 18's before I bought it. What's weird is now with bigger A/T's than either stock wheel size my speedo matches highway patrol radar?

I would ask them to adjust yours since it will show more mileage than you actually will drive.

My truck has an after market intake, fox coils, is tuned, 35 inch tires with many more parts and my dealer had done every bit of warranty work including a power steering rack, and EVAP valves. I would say it really depends on the dealer though.
