Default towing mirrors

Was looking at getting towing mirrors on my 2013 xlt scab. So local dealer quoted me $400 for Part # DL3Z-17696-AA. Then i go online and another person quoted me $600 or so for a different set of tow mirrors DL3Z*17682*AA and DL3Z*17683*AA. Which one is correct? Guy says the 17696 are discontinued but the mirrors are still available for order. Im looking for the towing mirrors that come with the max tow pkg. anyone can help me what the differences are? Anyone have pictures or anything? Thanks for the help in advance.

I am also looking at adding towing mirrors to my 2013 XLT Supercrew, but I was given these part numbers: 7L3Z17682AE and 7L3Z17683AE. But I don't think those are the right ones, even though the dealer insisted they were compatible with my truck.

I haven't done too much research yet, and I am undecided if to get the all black or the one with the chrome top. My truck is Blue Jeans Mettallic with chrome package.

So many part numbers!

2013 has the newer ones with the running lights and the older ones don't have them.

I went with 1Aauto.com, they are a vendor here and they sell tow mirrors that are identical to the ford ones but much cheaper. I got mine for $250 delivered.

I am having a hard time finding the right tow mirrors for my truck. I keep getting different part numbers/answers from different dealerships. I have a 2013 XLT SuperCrew with the 302A package and I like the chrome look. I guess I have power/heat mirrors. I am undecided if I want the chrome cap or the all black. Some dealers tell me I will lose the power, some say I can have power extenders for the mirrors and heat.. I am confused. There seem to be several choices, some that extend with power, some manually. Some have running lights. What features will transfer to the new mirrors?

No two part numbers match, I have about 5 different part numbers.. Thanks for the help!

From what I've read, power extend will take work to get them to operate on truck that didn't have them originally.

I have a 2010 and all I had was power mirrors, when I installed mine I got power, turn signal, and puddle lights as it was all wired already in truck, just plug and play. I also get heated mirror but I have to replace my temp controls to get it to work.

It's confusing and the new 13 mirrors are nice but expensive, even the genuine Ford regular tow mirrors are expensive hence why I went with 1Aauto.com.

I am not really concerned with power extending of the mirrors, but I would like the power fold option. My 2013 XLT SCREW currently does not have the power fold option. Is that easily added with a new control and mirrors or is there more work involved?
