Default Tow mirror install?

I would really like to install the tow mirrors on my F-150. It was a bear to back up my 35' with the regular mirrors. My question is there are the strictly manual version and there's the version with heated glass, puddle lights etc. My truck is a 2014 XLT and I have heated mirrors with dimming.

The page on tasca says that whatever options the truck came with should work with the mirrors, has anyone had any experience with this?

Also a 2014 XLT here...... My truck came with heated, powered mirrors, no puddle lights. I bought the 200 dollar version of the tow mirrors, and after I installed them I gained the puddle lights. Easy installation. I think the consensus is that if your factory mirrors have power going to them then you'll retain the power functions (heated mirrors, tilt, etc.), and you'll gain the puddle lights.

Do you retain the Auto Dimming? I have come to like that feature when I am being followed by someone with bright HID lights.

Didn't retain that. On my stock mirrors the auto-dimming "feature" was a film that was applied to the stock mirror. There wasn't anything electronic about that. I'm pretty sure it's like that with all models. I could be wrong though. At any rate.... even without the auto-dimming, I wouldn't trade these tow mirrors for the stock ones EVER.

I had tow mirrors installed for about 6 months and they did not auto-dim and it sucked at night. All other features are there but having headlights reflect off those big ***** mirrors was blinding at night. I switched back to regular mirrors

They won't have power dimming but you will get heat, turn signal, and puddle lamps.

My front windows are tinted so no issue with headlights from behind.

$200 version? I'm guessing they're not OEM.

1Aauto.com has them. They are high quality knockoffs. I've run a set for a couple years now.

Not OEM. No need to pay OEM prices when you can get these. Here's a pic:

Not too wild about losing the temperature sensor!
