Default "Toolbox Essentials"

With the amount of thieving going on these days, and my hatred of havin to deal with keys for locked toolboxes, I decided to get a DU-Ha box for my Screw instead of a toolbox in bed. My question is, since space is more limited in it, what essentials would you guys wanna have on hand? Im always up for nifty ideas/gadgets guys come up with.

SO FAR I HAVE: Socket/screwdriver set in a kit and jumper cables.

THINKING OF GETTING: Small 12v air comp, wrench set, waterpump pliers, small pliers, shop towels, WD-40, flashlight, zip ties, small assortment of batteries, and some kinda towstrap.

I have a tote in the bed of my truck. It has:

Shop towels
Jumper Cables
Duct Tape
Tarp
Iso Heat
Ratchet Straps
Wd40
Tow Strap

Inside underneth the back seat I have a bunch more stuff. Survival kit, Med kit, PCord, Fishing kit, etc. Too much stuff to list.

Jumper cables, gloves/sweatshirt(Winter), some basic tools: screwdrivers/socket set, pliers/vise grips, flares, tow strap, ratchet straps(s)

Not sure what else, band aids are in the center console
I made a simple under seat storage w/3 sides -wood, to hold everything in
You lose less space that way

I keep tow rope, multitude of ratchet straps, jumper cables, few hand tools. Breaker bar with socket for the lug nuts and a couple trailer hitch receivers. I should keep an emergency kit though.

Having the longer 6.5' bed box in mine with limited need for locked security under Leer topper cap, I have the largest size 48gal Rubbermaid Action Packer strapped to the forward wall. Its loaded with; bag of dedicated but cheap HF tools, bag of recovery tools incl tow and ratchet straps, flares, battery cables, emergency wool army blanket, first aid kit, flashlight and other related stuff. Oh yeah, it does get locked 'cus I keep my old Marlin 70p "Papoose" in there too along with requisite ammo. Also have twin SwingCases bolted to either side for quick access gear. Main thing for me to remember is to be sure I lock the tailgate 'cus the Leer topper locks along with door locks.

Jumper cables, ratchet straps, 3 different hitch receiver drops & ball sizes, Gloves, basic hand tools, windshield washer fluid, towels, blanket, and a set of roadside flares.
OH....and to pull the Chevy's & Dodges out from getting stuck,... a heavy duty tow strap & a receiver shackle that fits in the hitch to pull from the rear. (works great!)

Nice, I have some shackles, have to see if I can put something together like that
I gave my spare 2" receiver to my brother....now I only have 1 spare
Plus (2) smaller receivers from my old car

Also one good thing no one has listed yet is a fire extinguisher. I keep one of those, a little shovel called a crovel and pretty much everything else that has been listed.
