Another vote for the Retrax. I had one for 6 years and never had a problem with it. Easy open and close with tailgate up.

The retrax is indeed gaining steam. From the three positive reviews in this thread, and a guy a work with has one on each of his trucks and loves them.

The UnderCover brand cover shown is not made of fiberglass. The are injection molded plastic and extremely strong. They open without the tailgate being lowered and pop off the truck in about minute if needed. Average weight is about 55lbs and can take off yourself if needed.

I have the UnderCover on my 2013 F150 Screw and had one on my 2002 Screw as well. One of the best items I ever bought for the truck.
I carry two Golden Retrievers sometimes in the back and taking the cover off is easy as removing two ***** and two gas struts.

I have the fold a cover, and while I like it, I'm not sure I'd get it again due to the fact that the last 1/4 panel doesn't move up. I've only needed it to once, but I am envious when my friend's flip their bakflips or whatever they are all the way up. The extra locking, while more secure, is also a bit of a PITA. It does keep the bed dry, things secure, and doesn't take up width of the bed, so it scores on a lot of points. I just wish it folded up that last panel like the others. It is also either 1/4 open or 3/4 open. There is no 1/2 open position which is also possible with the bak flips. It sounds like I am bashing it, but I'm not. I just wish it did everything the others did in addition to being more secure

does the entire cover come off rather quickly then? As in if I needed the whole bed, I could take the entire cover off and leave it in the garage?

My soft folding tonneau came entirely off in less than 30 seconds so just trying to see if the fold a cover is similar.

Here's a video we've developed here at Fold-a-Cover demonstrating how to remove the Fold-a-Cover from the truck bed.

The cover does not fold up to block the back window because we feel it is a major safety hazard to completely block your view of the cargo hold through the rear window.

Please let me know if you have any questions about Fold-a-Cover tonneau covers and I will do my best to help!

I have a ratcheting 7/16" wrench and it makes pretty quick work of those bolts you have to remove. As in the video, pretty easy to handle with one person.

No perfect cover out there yet for me. Fold A Cover was the one that fit most of my needs though.

I have a foldacover and love it. We drove through a severe thunderstorm on a trip into Canada and never had any of our luggage get wet in the bed
