Default Tire question

I'm contemplating powder coating my factory FX4 18'' wheels and upgrading the tires. I'm stuck between Terra Grapplers and Duratracs... Any suggestions? I'm looking for limited road noise, good tread life and an aggressive look... I know, I know... Asking for the world with that combination... Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Here's a picture of what you might be after, however, my rims are plasti-dipped. I highly recommend the Duratracs, my mom runs terra grapplers on her suburban and hates them, they don't look very aggressive either.

Not in the same category. DuraTracs are WAY more of an aggressive tire, they will be 100x better in the snow, mud, off road in general, the Terra graps will have better road manners.

If you do a bunch of snow driving, get the dura's for sure. As for life, they both are a fairly long life tread. Good luck!

I was told to expect at least 80,000 Kms out of them. I plan on rotating every oil change to get maximum life. They are fantastic in the snow and completely change the look of your truck, just expect to pay a little more for the Duratracs, its worth it though.

Thanks! I'm in NJ so it's not constant snow driving, but I like the capability. Do you guys weight down your beds with anything?

I don't bother, if I find I'm doing a lot of spinning I throw it in 4x4.

I had 33" grapplers on my 06 and loved them, road noise was pretty good, great in snow, held up to wear very well, better than I expected

no experience with the dura's but the grapplers are a good all around option and can be had for a great price
