Default Tip for Cleaning Chrome Exhaust

Gents...about 6 months ago I had the Magnaflow Dual Rear Exit Exhaust installed, and was just curious to see if anyone had tips for cleaning it.

Typically after a car wash or in the driveway, I just run a towel over it to clean it up a bit, but I dont add/use any cleaning products.

Is there something I should spray on it to prep it for a wash, or just normal soap/water/towel during the wash is all I should do?

I appreciate your insight...

Eagle One - Nevr-Dull Wadding polish.....

I use this product on my Custom Cobra...and it works GREAT for cleaning up dull, tar, road grim, dirt...etc... from the exhaust.

You can get it at AutoZone or Pepboys...

I wax mine as well but use another wax (Meguires), will have to try this one on my new truck when it arrives.

Clean all of the dirt that you can with soap and water, and then take Mother's Mag Wheel and Aluminum polish to the tip --- just grab the exhaust in your hand and go in circles with the polish --- then wipe with a clean cloth. You will be amazed....

i always buy the stainless tips. every once and a while you have to go over them with a brillo pad to remove surface debris. other than that, i just wipe them off and they shine so purty.
