Default Tiny rust spots

I don't have a photo but will get one this afternoon. I detailed my truck this past weekend and when I was wiping her down afterwards I noticed what looked like tiny rust spots in the paint. Anyone know why I'm getting these and can tell me how to get rid of them? My truck is 2011 Oxford White Screw. Please help!!!

Probably rail dust.

Just get a good clay bar, and clay the whole truck to pull the rusting bits out. Then use a good wax/sealant to top it off.

Yep, rail dust, brake dust on road, plows, etc. Little flakes stick to the paint and make rust spec's all vehicles have them but they are really visible on white paint. A clay bay will remove the debris and a light buff or paint cleaner will take the rust spec marks off. Then just seal/wax it back up and you are good to go.

If iron X doesn't work, you'll have to sand it down.

If sanding doesn't work, trade it in.

Thanks everyone. I have never used a clay bar before. How do I do it? Anything I need to be careful of?
