Default Timer delay set wrong for componets after shut down of vehicle

I just picked up my new 2009 F-150. A problem has come up the is miner, but it is a problem. When I turn off the truck, the radio and other components are supposed to stay on 10 min. In my truck everything shuts down in 2 min.

Can anyone tell me how to adjust the time delay.

Thanks

I have been through that manual a hundred time,I even took it into the truck, tried every configuration there is and I still can't add time to the timer. Heck I can't even find where it is located. I thought maybe on the Driver Control panel, but nope, not there either. Got me puzzled.

HI Ty,
I told him about the problem, I'll check back with him Monday. See what the mechanic can come up with. I'll let you all know if they fix it.

hi I have a 09, if you look at the display that is located under the gauges, push the little stick button till you get to set up menu, then push and hold the stick button till you get into the setup menu there are all kinds of timer delay setups in that menu, not 100% if the radio delay is in there, but I will look next time i hop in the truck.

I should have sent a reply back to all of you. The problem was fixed after I had 50 miles on the vehicle. It reset itself. Some small glitch I guess. So my problem is now fixed. Thanks to all that replied. At my local garage, they said it also could have been fixed through a computer chip.

Best Regards
