YES they can tell if its been flashed, it resets key cycles and much more parameters. They can remote Ford into your PC, and tell if anythings been tampered with.

Hang on there - how can you claim that the 5.0 is maxed out, when my truck has 360hp, yet FOMOCO runs them at 420hp in the Mustang GT, and 444hp in Boss tune, and those engines don't break, and are under warranty?

buddy, you are comparing 3 different motors. do your research.

Same basic engine - the higher HP ones have a little more compression, different cams, and the BOSS has higher rpm porting too - but I could take my F150, any day of the week, and if I could afford the parts swaps I could have the same power, so somebody saying the 5.0 is 'maxxed out' in a truck, because it's normally aspirated, is dead wrong.
