Default Time to move on

First off I want to thank this forum for all the information and knowledge that I gathered here. I traded my 2010 FX4 in Saturday on a 2013 3500 Ram Laramie Cummins 4X4. This was a well thought out move as I'm going to retire and the wife and I are getting a 5th wheel and travel for a couple of years.

I wish all of you the best of luck and enjoy your trucks.

Dave

Hope you got that Ram with a stick!

Happy trails to you, sir! Be careful around Beaver Creek when you eventually make the trip up to Alaska (everyone does!).

I drove a GMC, Super Duty, and Ram. I really liked the Ram over the Super Duty. The GMC was not ever in the ballpark as the ohter 2- it already had rattles with 12 miles on it.. My son has had 3 Dodges(Ram's) with out any problem. I liked the interior in the Ram better. It is the heavy duty optional 6 speed automatic. I'll have to take some pictures.

Any of the big three would have been good trucks but anyone who argues with a Cummins is a fighting a losing battle. Those Rams are slick too! Good luck!

I had a feeling the interior would be a plus. I've seen this mentioned a few time on professional comparisons between trucks.

Cause super dutys cost twice as much, Haha! I just traded my 2010 f150 on a 13 f350 Platinum 6.7L. Super dutys are much nicer at the top trim level but had I not been set on a fully loaded one I may have considered a ram and saved a bundle. Rams are much nicer inside than they were when I looked at them in 2010. They've come a long way for sure.

Rams interior for 2013/14 are actually pretty nice. I still think the 09+ Platinums are way better but it is what it is. Goodluck on the travelling!

You can't beat the 6.7L Powerstroke.... It pretty much rules the roost of the newer trucks. The newer Super Duties are just better in every aspect.
