Thumping at stop and start

When at a light I accelerate and there is a thumping in the drive train. When I come to a stop it thumps again. Shop tried to tell me that was suspension setting. 2011 FX4 5.0 w 97K

Single thump? Probably the slip yoke on the drive shaft.

As mentioned above, pull the driveshaft and grease the slip yoke with the ford recommended grease.

Single thump could also be u-joints... At least it was for me...
