Default there goes the tax return...

Coming out of a parking lot today, turned to sharp and "curbed" the tire. Was already heading to the dealer to get a switch replaced(My fault).

Got a quote from the dealer for a new tire. $495.00!! Not the whole return, but definitely not what I was planning on spending it on.

I would look online to find a new rim if possible and is the tire gone or just the rim? if the tire is gone you can pick up one of those for less than at the dealer from goodyear.

I regularly see sets of 4 takeoffs on craigs list for that or less. You might want to look there first.

I misread a Forest Service road yesterday -- farrrrrrrr more muddy than I thought it was -- and my Toyo's OPAT (LT265/70R17) are not in the least bit mud tires!

In the first 20 feet, I picked up 1/2+" of mud on all tires turning them into slick hockey pucks, and then "slid down" the next 1/4 mile banking into the road ruts.

I think my rims would have been trashed if I had 20" wheels, so in this case, I think the 17" wheels saved me from any serious damage.

Thankfully there was another way out of the small canyon that wasn't as muddy.... so get rid of the bling bling 20" and go 17" or 18"!

He's got 18s...

I also agree that you can find them WAY cheaper then what you've found it for... ebay ftw.

Ah, yeah, I see the "18" on the tire....

He should move down to 12's since he's otherwise too dangerous...
