ok i have a 2012 FX2 screw and i was wondering is there a way to turn off the txt message notification PERMANENTLY on the sync? i know how to do it everyitme my phone syncs with the truck but i have to constantly keep tunring it off everytiem i step in the truck and it gets annoying when i have to keep doing it over and over

 

That is a pain but funny to me cause I just spent a week trying to get text messaging to work! I am not sure how you are doing it every time your phone sync so my suggestion may not help or is what you are already doing. but I will give it a shot anyway! press the phone button and then the arrow keys to take you to phone settings. press ok then the arrow key to take you to message notification, then ok, then arrow key to message notification off and press the ok and then press ok again. That should do it but if that is what you did or do and it defaults back every time then I would suggest one of two things. 1, turn of auto download and if that doesn't do it, 2. turn off the MAP program, which I believe is in the advanced section.
