Default How much easier is it to keep grey vs black clean?

Hi, I have always had black cars/trucks and I have been considering a different color for a new f150. I have been looking at the grey and wondering how much easier will it be to keep that color lean vs. black? I can always go for white or silver too - but if you have greyi would love your perspective on this. Thanks!

Grey won't show swirl marks as bad as black does

Roughly 5.6 times easier I wanted black so badly, but am til picky (and busy) to keep up on it. Nothing looks better IMO though. I ended up with the grey and have been happy

The ingot silver is by far the easiest color to keep looking clean. I'm partial but mine has grime from wet gravel roads and the metallic in the paint still sparkles a little when the sun hits it. A black truck looks amazing when clean but that only lasts 5 minutes. I'm sure you'd be happy with the gray which I almost got until I got a deal on my silver

I really like gray with black trim. No chrome on mine.

Easiest color to maintain is white especially the tri-coat white... black is the hardest color ever to keep clean and maintain

I have a sterling gray FX4 screw, and I wish I had a black! I am a former professional detailer so I dont mind putting in the time or effort to keep my truck clean. The sterling gray is cool cuz it it doesn't look dirty, but when its clean and waxed, it doesn't look a whole lot different. Hopefully that helps.

Red is pretty awesome. But in time, of you don't keep it washed and waxed, it'll fade very fast.
