Default tcase blew up

travelling back to town on the highway doing 115km/hr i hear this grinding noise, start slowing down when it just locks up.coasted in neutral to a rest stop. waiting on ford roadside now

still under warranty, 2013 eco super crew max tow with 78700 kms. literally just picked it up from ford for an oil change haha

That sucks brother! Glad you're taking it in stride! I'll be interested to hear what happened, chain snap? I wouldn't image that that would crack the case like that!

what can ya do, stuff breaks, especially in our climate where your making things move at - 40 when they damn well dont want to haha. get this, my timing chain, a leak from my trans or engine, if is trans there is a tsb out. and my cv shafts, nice laundry list haha, oh and rear end grinds when spinning with the diff locked.
