Default Tape-on Visor install in Winter?

Plan to install a set of AVS Tape-on window Ventvisors. I don't have a garage so the truck is parked outside. The high air temp is predicted to be in the upper 30's to lower 40's for the next couple of days. Will that make a difference as to how well the tape will stick during application or should I wait until the weather warms up?

I have read several threads on installing the visors, but couldn't find any mention of cold temps.

You can do it in the cold. Just make sure you clean the area well with rubbing alcohol. If you can use a heat gun to heat up the adhesive it'll go on great.

Idk, never works for me. Last one I tried was inside the cab, and I did it after driving for awhile, it was all warmed up so the ambient should have been over 50*. Still fell off after a week. I'm just waiting for actual warmth before trying again.

The surface is the problem, not just the tape.

Park in a friends spot in an underground or heated parking space for a few hours.

I did it with mine this winter. I did heat up the garage to 55 or so. I also kept the visors inside until I was ready for them. Used a blow dry to heat up the tape and surface a little bit too. Worked like a charm

Did my AVS bug shield at the same time... Not as good luck with that. After about 2 weeks it was loose.

I did decide to wait a few days. Mostly because the air temp has been 34° F and the wind has been ~15 MPH all day. Chill Factor around 25° F. I don't like to work outside under conditions like that unless I just have to. Name: icon_mrgreen_zpsf5yg3jyq.gif

I put mine on 2 Christmas's ago it was cold here at the time, im guessing 30s. I couldn't wait for a warm day. They have never gave me a problem or even tried to come off. I cleaned the area good with the supplied cleaning and prep packets. Let it dry and stuck them on. Mine was the Ford vent shades not the AVS but I dont think it should matter.
